History Of Troop 299
Boy Scout Troop 0299 was chartered January 18, 1937 by the Blue
Ash Civic
League. It is one of the oldest troops from Dan Beard Council in
the Greater Cincinnati Ohio area with a long history of
excellence and service. The excellence continues today as troop
299 continues to receive Quality Unit Award status from BSA.
Our first Eagle Scout was Richard Bury in 1943 with over 40
additional scouts following in his footsteps to become Eagle Scouts.
Eagle Scout Honor Roll
Over the years as districts within Dan Beard Council were shuffled
around as the community grew, we have been part of North Star, Big
Bear, Valley, and Blue Jacket Districts.
